HEATING UP:  #43 Adam Klapka

Adam Klapka is heating up!

Klapka has been a force for the Wranglers against the Eagles. He has three points in the last three games versus Colorado, with a goal and two assists –  and added a fighting major for good measure.

CGY Player to Watch: #21 Kevin Rooney

Keep an eye out for No.21 Kevin Rooney tonight.

Rooney put together one of his best performances in a Wranglers’ uniform on Tuesday night against the Eagles. The native of Canton, MA scored the game winning goal and added an assist, good for ‘First Star of the Game’ honours.

“It was a huge win,” commented Rooney after the game. “We haven’t played a lot of home games recently, so we were really excited to get back and play in front of the fans so… great win by the team.”

Heading into Wednesday night’s matchup with the Eagles, Rooney expects another tough test.

“They’ve got a really good team over there,” explained Rooney. “They gave us two awesome games down in Colorado, we know they’re going to have a big push after (Tuesday), so we’ve got to rest up and be ready to go.”
