BRYAN WILSON – 08.22.2023
Checking in with a few Wranglers to see what they’ve been up to this summer.
EMILIO PETTERSEN ON SUMMER IN NORWAY
“It’s been a nice summer; I’ve stayed home a bit more this summer and tried to spend more time with family and friends. The weather has been a little up and down. June was nice with a lot of sun, but other than that it’s been rainy. There’s been a lot of training and relaxing, doing different stuff. Golfing, playing some paddle ball. It’s nice to get that variety in during the summer.”
COLE SCHWINDT ON BEING HOME
“Summer has been great. Just spending time with the family. That’s one of those things with pro hockey and being so far away from home for eight months, you really enjoy being home.”

CONNOR ZARY ON SUMMER TRAINING
“Summer’s been great, been working out and skating quite a bit. I’ve been enjoying having some time off, but still, staying steady at the grind with my training.”
MITCH MCLAIN ON KEEPING BUSY
“It’s been a busy summer that’s for sure. I have a hockey camp that I run that goes seven weeks long, and we recently wrapped that up. A lot of people are getting married in my friend circle, as well.”
Nice to have @NHLFlames prospect and AHL MVP @dwolf2332 show up to @LakesHocAcademy tonight!!! #BeNext #CofRed pic.twitter.com/AXmoMmai33

COLTON POOLMAN AT THE LAKE
“My family just got a lake cabin in Minnesota, so we’ve spent time at the lake with my family, my brothers and their wives/girlfriends. It’s been a good summer to just decompress… but now, gearing up more and more each day to be ready for the season.”
