MATTHEW PHILLIPS ON ELEVATING
“It is what it is. I don’t really care about the points, I care about wins and losses and we didn’t get one last game, so it’s important that we all bring a bit more tonight.”
ON REFUELING IN OT
“You try to maybe eat a little bit, which you usually might not do between periods, drink a lot of electrolytes… it’s tough, and it’s more of a mental thing at that point.”
ON PLAYING DESPERATE
“It’s no secret, our season’s on the line and we just have to play desperate. I think we did some good things last game, a little better execution here and there, but our desperation is most important.”

WALKER DUEHR ON THE POSITIVES
“I thought there (were) a lot of positives we can pull from it. I liked our start and we got to our identity quick and I think that’s what we’re going to need tonight.”
ON THE MAGNITUDE OF GAME 4
“I think you can take some of the positives but in the end, that’s in the past and tonight, Game 4 is the biggest game of the year, so that’s all we’re focused on now.”
“The biggest game of the year.”

DON NACHBAUR ON THE VIBE
“We played really well throughout the game, we didn’t obviously get the results we wanted, but technically and effort-wise we were outstanding in a lot of areas.”
“We had chances to score throughout the game and their goalie was really hot, it’s something we have to fix tonight as far as finishing plays … We come out of it knowing we lost a game but we still have positive vibes within the locker room as far as getting the job done.”
ON LEADERSHIP AND EXECUTION
“We’ve got a lot of veteran players in there, we’ve got some young guys that feed off the veteran players, but we’ve done it all year long. We’ve lost a game and we came back and rebounded with a solid effort. In terms of what we’re looking for tonight, our effort, our execution has to be at the same level (as) it was last game and we’ll get better results.”
“We still have positive vibes within the locker room as far as getting the job done.”

ON A HOT START
“The first 10 minutes on the road, especially in this building with the big crowd and how vocal they are, we’ve got to get through that first 10 minutes and when we do, it’s just another hockey game and I thought we handled that really well.”
