The Wranglers defeated Abbotsford 3-2 at Rogers Forum in Abbotsford Tuesday night, with goals from Clark Bishop, Justin Kirkland, and Carter King powering Calgary to a dramatic victory.
After a scoreless opening frame, the Canucks struck first in the second when Mackenzie MacEachern found the net on a power play.
Calgary struggled to generate pressure through forty minutes, trailing 29-13 on the shot clock heading into the third.
But the Wranglers flipped the script in the final period.
Captain Bishop sparked the comeback, slipping a low shot through the five-hole after hard work from Matvei Gridin.

Abbotsford answered through Vilmer Alriksson, and moments later, goaltender Ivan Prosvetov was forced to leave the game with an injury, handing the crease to Owen Say.
Calgary refused to fold.
With under five minutes remaining, Kirkland delivered a clutch equaliser, burying a feed from William Strömgren to level things at 2-2.

Then, with just 30 seconds left, King provided the dagger, angling a deft redirect on a Turner Ottenbreit drive past Ty Young to seal it.

The win pushes the Wranglers ahead 3-0 in the series, and they’ll look to keep rolling when they meet the Canucks again on Dec. 3 for the back half of the doubleheader at 8 p.m. MT.
