Calgary skated to a 3-0 win at the Scotiabank Saddledome against their rival Coachella Valley Firebirds, with goals from Aydar Suniev, Daniil Miromanov, and Martin Frk powering the Wranglers to a tidy, hard-earned result.
The backbone of it all? Owen Say, who turned aside 44 shots in a brilliant performance, securing his first professional shutout anchoring the Wranglers.
The tone was set early.
Less than seven minutes in, Alex Gallant dropped the gloves with Kaden Hammel, sparking a full bench brawl and firing up the homeside.

The energy paid off soon after.
