Time for a run.

The Wranglers are back in the playoffs and looking to make another push towards the Calder Cup. Calgary takes on the Tucson Roadrunners in their round one, best-of-three series, starting tonight with all three games taking place in Arizona.

Calgary (35-28-6-3) finished the season in the seventh and final playoff spot in the AHL’s Pacific division and would be considered the underdogs coming into the series. However, they will get Matt Coronato, Dustin Wolf, Ilya Solovyov and Adam Klapka back from the Flames for their push.

Tucson (43-23-4-2) wrapped up the season second in the Pacific Division, 11 points behind the powerhouse Coachella Valley Firebirds. The Roadrunners will get six bodies back to the roster for the playoffs including Josh Doan and Dylan Guenther. Connor Geekie will also join the squad from the Swift Current Broncos.

Puck drop: 8 p.m. MT on AHL TV.
