This Contest is brought to you by the Calgary Wranglers, an AHL team owned by Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (“CSEC”) and the Alberta Chrysler Dealers Advertising Association (“DAA”).  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To determine if you can participate, see the eligibility section below.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST, YOU MUST READ AND AGREE TO THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS. PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS THE SAME MAY BE AMENDED BY CSEC FROM TIME TO TIME IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION UPON NOTICE (POSTING AMENDED RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE SUFFICIENT NOTICE). ALL DOLLAR AMOUNTS ARE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS ($ CDN) UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

(1) CONTEST PERIOD:

The Contest will begin at approximately 9:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Dec 1, 2024 and end at 11:00 PM (Mountain Time) on April 20, 2025 (the “Contest Period“).

(2) ELIGIBILITY:

In order to be eligible to win the Prize, you must be:

• A resident of Alberta;
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license;
• Available on April 20, 2025 to attend a Calgary Wranglers game at Scotiabank Saddledome to participate in the Contest;
• Be willing to be publicly recognized during the in-venue Contest and as a potential winner of the Contest;
• Your one (1) eligible entry must be received by 9:00 PM (Mountain Time) on March 31, 2025; and
• Not be (nor any member of your immediate family can be) an employee of CSEC and/or DAA, or any of its affiliates, nor an employee of any suppliers of materials or services related to the Contest (including retailers, and advertising, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, including specifically the Administrator).

For the purposes of these Rules and Regulations, “immediate family” means husband, wife, spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether by blood, marriage or adoption and whether or not they reside in the same household.

CSEC and/or DAA shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to CSEC and/or DAA for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Entries – regardless of format – will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, garbled or mechanically or electronically manipulated in any way.  One (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry.  CSEC reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant in its sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage contain and/or supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

(3) HOW TO ENTER:

No Purchase Necessary.

In total eight (8) contestants will have a chance to win a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Sahara  on April 20, 2025, and there are various ways to enter the Contest.

Contest Entry Method A (the “Season Long Contest Entry Method”)

To enter the Contest via the www.calgarywranglers.com website, please follow these steps:

1. Using a web browser, go to www.calgarywranglers.com/jeep.
2. Follow the instructions to enter, including completing and submitting the official Contest entry form.
3. Five (5) contestants will be randomly selected from the Season Long Contest Entry Method from all entrants throughout the Contest period each of whom will be invited to attend the April 20^th, 2025 Calgary Wranglers Home Game and provided with two (2) tickets to the Calgary Wranglers Home Game (approximate retail value $63.60). .

Contest Entry Method B (the “In-Person Entry Method”)

To enter the Contest in person at the Scotiabank Saddledome during a Calgary Wranglers game:

Visit the representatives of DAA onsite at one of the Calgary Wranglers games during the Contest Period or one of the following Calgary Wranglers currently scheduled games (schedule subject to change):

One (1) contestant will be randomly selected from all entrants of the In-Person Entry Method throughout the Contest period who will be invited to attend the April 20^th, 2025 Calgary Wranglers Home Game and provided with two (2) tickets to the Calgary Wranglers Home Game (approximate retail value $63.60).

Contest Entry Method C (the “Additional Contest Entry Method”)

 Additional Contest entry method includes:

Representatives of DAA and/or CSEC will randomly select up to two (2) contestants from the fans in attendance during the April 20, 2025 Calgary Wranglers home game who enter the contest via the www.calgarywranglers.com website.

To enter the contest via the www.calgarywranglers.com website please follow these steps:

1. Using a web browser, the Apple App store, or Google Play store, download the Flames, Wranglers + Scotiabank Saddledome app and enable notifications – go to www.nhl.com/flames/fans/app to download the app.
2. Once on the app, you should receive a push notification of the Contest if you are in attendance at the Calgary Wranglers game on April 20^th, 2025. Should you not receive a push notification via the Flames, Wranglers + Scotiabank Saddledome app, you can also find the Contest by going here www.calgarywranglers.com/jeepcontest.
3. Follow the instructions to enter, including completing and submitting the official Contest entry form.

If a total of eight (8) contestants cannot be found through the various Contest entry methods described herein, any additional required contestants may be randomly selected from the entrants of the Season Long Contest Entry Method or the Additional Contest Entry Method, at CSEC’s discretion. .

No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with contestants except with those selected for the potential Prize.

Entries received online shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. For the purpose of the Contest, “authorized account holder” of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential winners may be required to provide CSEC and/or DAA with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE CONTEST WEBSITE OR ANY RELATED WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

(4) HOW TO WIN

The 8 contestants selected throughout the Contest Period will be invited to attend the Wranglers Game on April 20, 2025 and provided with two (2) tickets each to attend the event (approximate Retail value $63.60).  All costs, other than ticketing, associated with attending the game are to be borne by the contestant.  At the designated time during the April 20, 2025 game, all contestants will be invited to participate in a game of chance as designed and operated by CSEC.  The rules of the game will be explained to the contestants in full at the game.  The game of chance will eliminate all contestants until there is one contestant remaining, who will be the winner of the Jeep Wrangler grand prize (as described below).  In order to claim the Grand Prize, a potential winner must complete the Release and Declaration and provide it to CSEC within one (1) business day.  Failure to sign and return the Release and Declaration will cause CSEC to allocate any prize to an alternate contestant of their choice.

Before being declared a winner, the Prize winner must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question within two (2) business days of prize notification.

(5) GRAND PRIZE:

• Grand. There is one (1) total grand prize package available to be won consisting of:

2023 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Sahara ( 1C4HJXEGXPW542292).  Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $57,653.93

Winners are not entitled to monetary difference between actual prize value and stated approximate prize value, if any, and there is no cash alternative. The Prize winner will be responsible for accepting all of the risks associated with accepting a 2023 Jeep Wrangler, including the costs of picking up the vehicle and transporting it to the Prize winner’s place of residence or storage, parking, fuel, licensing and registration requirements, etc. CSEC reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize cannot be awarded for any reason.

Winners are not entitled to a cash alternative. CSEC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize cannot be awarded for any reason.

If any selected entrant does not meet all of the Contest conditions, or does not reply to CSEC and/or DAA within one (1) business day of being notified of their potential win, or refuses to sign the Declaration and Release form, or does not correctly answer the skill testing question, that entrant will be disqualified and CSEC and/or DAA shall be entitled to randomly select a new entrant from amongst the remaining eligible entries or contestants in accordance with these Rules.

Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received by the end of the Contest Period. All entries must be received by the end of the Contest Period in order to qualify.

(6) GENERAL RULES:

This Contest is void where restricted or prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the CSEC or their affiliates and/or DAA and their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless CSEC, the National Hockey League and its member teams, NHL Enterprises Canada L.P., the American Hockey League and its member teams, the Alberta Chrysler Dealers Advertising Association, and the respective governors, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, directors, officers, employees and representatives of each of the foregoing (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, damages, claims, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of: (i) your participation in the Contest, (ii) the receipt or use of the Prize awarded as part of the Contest, or (iii) the administration of the Contest and the distribution of the Prize awarded. ENTRANTS WAIVE ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS, OR GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

CSEC reserves the right to terminate, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice for any reason, including without limitation, if for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, errors, tampering, fraud, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or other causes beyond the control of CSEC that may corrupt or impair the integrity, fairness or proper operation of the Contest.

CSEC shall have the right to make all determinations relating to the Contest in its sole discretion.

Subject to the foregoing, any controversy or dispute arising out of the conduct of this Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Province of Alberta applying the laws of the Province of Alberta (and federal laws of Canada applicable therein), to which exclusive jurisdiction and law the entrants agree to submit as evidenced by their participation in the Contest.

(7) USE OF CONTEST INFORMATION:

By entering the Contest, you:

• May choose whether to give your consent to the collection by CSEC of all Contest information, including your personal information obtained through the Contest, for the purposes of running the Contest, contacting you with offers which may be of interest to you (provided you have opted in on the Contest website) and for such other purposes as described in CSEC’s privacy policy, which may be viewed at:  www.nhl.com/flames/team/privacy-policy
• May choose whether to give your consent to the collection by DAA of all Contest information, including your personal information obtained through the Contest, for the purposes of running the Contest, contacting you with offers which may be of interest to you (provided you have opted in on the Contest website) and for such other purposes as described in DAA’s privacy policy, which may be viewed at:  www.fcacanada.ca/privacy/
• Authorize and grant any of the Released Parties the right to use, reproduce and distribute your name, address (city/town only), any content submitted in connection with your submission, and, if photographs are taken, your images and likenesses in connection with the Contest or for general promotional purposes, without further compensation or notification, to the extent permitted by law.
• The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram. The information you provide will only be used in accordance with the CSEC’s and/or DAA’s privacy policy, specifically, we will only use your personal information as outlined later in these rules and only where you have specifically provided your consent for us to do so. Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram are completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest.  Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the CSEC and not Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram.

(8) LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Released Parties are not responsible, whether as a result of human error or otherwise, for any failure to contact any potential winners, nor for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, tampering, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entries, or any injury, damages, claims, costs, and expenses arising in connection with the Prize or from participation in the Contest.

(9) RULES AND REGULATIONS / WINNER’S LIST:

This Contest will be run in accordance with these Rules, subject to amendment by CSEC and/or DAA.  The Rules shall govern in the event of any inconsistency with other marketing promotions of the Contest or other Contest-related materials. All requests must be received within six (6) months after the end of the Contest Period.
