Calgary, AB – The Calgary Wranglers are proud to announce the details of the second annual Winter Wranglerfest presented by Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Winter Wranglerfest will once again be a jam-packed, fan-focused holiday hockey celebration on December 21st, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., when the Wranglers host the San Diego Gulls at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Winter Wranglerfest will have several unique elements, wrapping the joy of the holidays together with the energy of Wranglers hockey, and the tradition of giving back to our community. “Last year’s first ever Winter Wranglerfest was a fantastic experience and our largest regular season game to date. We are excited to make it bigger and better for our fans this season,” said Calgary Wranglers Manager of Business Operations Nathan MacDonald.
When the Wranglers score their first goal, BlastyClaus has 2500 limited-edition Winter Wranglerfest gifts that will be tossed into the stands as part of the BlastyClaus 1st Goal Celly. Gifts are tossed in each section, from the rafters, and even by the players from the ice. Fans are encouraged to be there early, settle into their seats before the puck drops, and cheer on the Wranglers as they look to ignite the crowd with the BlastyClaus 1st Goal Celly.
The end zone will be opened, with a winter wonderland hosted down at ice-level. Fans can stroll through the holiday-themed area while crafting a holiday keepsake, before taking a memorable photo with Santa, with complimentary printed photos. The wonderland area will be accessible from when doors open at 1:00 p.m. until the third period, with access available throughout the game. Special guests, the Brother Bicker Band, will return for musical performances at each intermission from the endzone stage.
The Wranglers will be wearing newly designed holiday-themed jerseys, with limited replica versions available in-venue at the CGY team stores in the Scotiabank Saddledome, while supplies last. The Wranglers and Mr. Rooter Plumbing are proud to give back to our fans and our community around the holidays by supporting The Women’s Centre of Calgary through Winter Wranglerfest. $2.00 from every ticket sold will be directed to supporting one of their many key services of providing women with opportunities to connect with each other and build community. As well, the proceeds raised from the 50/50 raffle will be directed to the Women’s Centre of Calgary.
