The Wranglers fell 6-1 to Ontario at Toyota Arena in California on Saturday night, with Daniil Miromanov providing Calgary’s lone strike in the opening minutes.
Miromanov jumped into the rush, going through the slot and snapping one past Pheonix Copley for the early lead.

But the Reign answered quickly.
Kirill Kirsanov leveled the match before Andre Lee converted on the powerplay to make it 2-1.
Ontario finished the first period 1-for-3 on the man advantage.
Martin Chromiak kicked off the second period for the Reign, with Kirsanov adding his second of the night.
Nikita Alexandrov made it 5-1.
Connor Murphy took over in net to start the third for the Wranglers, replacing Owen Say.
Francesco Pinelli tacked on another for the homeside.
Calgary will look to turn a new page as they face off against the Reign for the last matchup of the series tomorrow at 4 p.m. MT.
