Calgary dropped a high-scoring affair 6-5 to Henderson at the Scotiabank Saddledome, Tuesday with Martin Frk striking four times and Clark Bishop adding another in a back-and-forth tilt.
Henderson came out flying, opening the scoring just 13 seconds in as Raphael Lavoie finished off an early feed.
Calgary responded quickly, though, Frk buried a Justin Kirkland setup from the right circle, extending point streaks for both Kirkland and Dryden Hunt.

Frk stayed hot, wiring a one-timer just over a minute later off a slick Hunt pass, with Kirkland grabbing the secondary helper as the top line clicked into gear.

Lavoie restored Henderson’s lead soon after, but Frk wasn’t done, completing the hat-trick with a patient drag-and-fire release from the left circle off a feed from Nick Cicek.

The middle frame saw momentum swing.
Mitch McLain pulled Henderson level on the powerplay before Kai Uchacz gave the visitors the lead heading into the second intermission.
Henderson kept their foot on the gas in the third, with Jeremy Davies extending the lead before Uchacz added another on the man advantage to make it 6-3.
Calgary pushed back late, as Clark Bishop jammed one through Lindbom to cut the deficit.

Frk capped his four-goal night with a lethal one-timer at the top of the Henderson zone, again off a Cicek setup, but the comeback bid fell just short.

It was a night of offence for Calgary, with multi-point efforts across the lineup.
Frk led the charge with four goals, while Kirkland and Hunt each posted two assists, Cicek added a pair of helpers, and Daniil Miromanov chipped in with two points of his own.
